Celebrity selection plays a large role in branding, who is most appropriate to represent a product? Who will attract your target demographic or introduce your product to a new one?
Chinese celebrities play a large role in marketing and branding. Celebrities are idolized by their fans and influence consumer behavior, styles, and trends. Being able to make an informed decision on a celebrity for your product, if that is the avenue you choose to utilize, is obviously no small matter. In a recent study conducted nationwide we specifically focused on celebrities and their branding impact in China. Our final panel is composed of 2335 panelists mostly within the 23-35 age demographic, 68% male.

Trendy and stylish. Whereas these words normally conjure up images of underweight women strutting down the catwalk, people are also describing their mobile phones as such.
China Polling’s recent survey looked at four major manufacturers of cell phones (Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, and Sony Ericsson) and the attitudes citizens of mainland China hold towards the images of these brands. According to respondents, Samsung dominates in terms of trend and style.

Sharing photos with friends,family and colleagues is an internet phenomenon which virtually everyone participates in,and Chinese are no exception.What do Chinese rely on for sharing?
In a recent China Polling national study composed of 1931 panelists from all over mainland China, it was found that 99% of internet users forward pictures to friends, family and colleagues. Over 65% of them frequently.
